Successful Younth Entrepreneur, Brandon L. Griffin, founded the Brandon L. Griffin Foundation - A Fund of Tides Foundation after experiencing first hand the needs of youth who aspire to be successful - especially in the professional industry.

Using FyeBye Magazine, and other publications of BLG Publishing, to fund the foundation in addition to other donations, Griffin will create wealth for the foundation and begin making an even greater impact in the lives of youth.

The Entrepreneurship In Schools Initiative


BLG Publishing and its publications provide the main source of funding for the Brandon L. Griffin Foundation – A Fund of Tides Foundation and its programs including the Entrepreneurship In Schools Initiative. The Entrepreneurship In Schools Initiative has been established with the following objectives:

· To promote youth entrepreneurship among students…

· To provide resources to students which encourage and support entrepreneurship exploration…

· To provide resources to educators which will assist them in presenting
entrepreneurship to students with the respective course subject…

· To provide funding to schools, for the development and/or advancement of entrepreneurial related programs, student-based entrepreneurial ventures, and college scholarships for students majoring in Business.

He was awarded Youth Entrepreneur of the Year by each of the following organizations: Indiana Black Expo (IBE), Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education (IIEE), NWI Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Small Business Administration (SBA), the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), and Computer Resource Solutions. The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) & Merrill Lynch honored Brandon as a Growing Up CEO and Merrill Lynch Atlantic Fellow. Brandon was the first person to be inducted into the Society of Innovators under the age of eighteen, and at the age of eighteen was named one of twenty most successful business people under the age of forty by BusINess Magazine.
