Brandon was awarded Youth Entrepreneur of the Year by each of the following organizations:

• Indiana Black Expo (IBE)
• Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education (IIEE)
• NWI Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
• Small Business Administration (SBA)
• The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)

He was the first person to be inducted into the Society of Innovators under the age of eighteen, and at the age of eighteen was named one of twenty most successful business people under the age of forty by BusINess Magazine and The Times Media Company.
